Business of the Month Breakfast!

A morning of celebrations, surprises, laughter and some happy tears at the Welcome Pardner Client Networking Breakfast Friday morning!
April is National 9-1-1 Appreciation Month; for the 4th year in a row, we’ve honored dispatchers. Sheriff Chris Forbis nominated Telecommunicator Darla Davis for this honor.
Davis has been with Randall County Sheriff’s Office 9 years and loves her job. Davis was accompanied by Lt. Melvin Seymour and fellow telecommunicator, Debby: all
very passionate about what they do and why. First responders, we include dispatchers, help us in our worst moments, hold our hands virtually and most of the time, have no
idea the outcome (no real closure). Best wishes, Darla!!
The Amarillo SPCA is quite appreciative of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers for the fundraising and adopt-a-thons held to help the shelter and pets.
Celebrating an Adopt-a-thon Saturday (April 30th) at the Coulter location as well, Jonas and Tyler, and Friday, Kari Lopez (joined Jonas in person at the breakfast) have really been proactive with the Amarillo SPCA. Jonas was quite passionate with every word. Congratulations!
Glenda Moore has been busy doing a lot of interviews lately for her Kind House Ukraine Bakery. However, she’s been supporting the Ukrainian citizens since 2013. The doors she opened then have certainly help her helping them NOW when so many regular doors have closed due to the conflict. Friday morning, our Welcome Pardner members were able to thank Glenda in person. We honored her with lots of thankful comments, gifts and some cash, too as our Nonprofit of the Month.
However, we weren’t through having Glenda and her volunteer Laura Fox there with us. Glenda had nominated Laura to be the Edible Arrangements’ Random Acts of Kindness Honoree for April.
Glenda had written such a sweet nomination and of course, not only the gifts, but a beautiful bouquet of fruit from Shelly Thompson, with Edible Arrangements. (Thank you, to Joe Alonzo for providing bandanas to catch the tears from Glenda and Laura!!)
This is just a wrap-up from the event!
Our next breakfast is May 20th 8 AM at Red River Steakhouse, as usual.
We had a fun-filled morning with a lot of heart. If your organization is wanting a different way to market and network what you do in our community: 806-356-1555.  We represent the best!!!
