TAPA is a new non-profit organization that will bring theatre, vocals, dance and many more performing arts under one roof. And that roof is our 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Amarillo’s Sunset Center on Plains Blvd. Our focus is youth education and performance. You will be amazed at what we are doing. Furthermore, we fit right in with the Arts district that Sunset Center has become. There is no greater concentration of the Arts in Amarillo than what you will find at Sunset Center.

Cyndie Koetting is our Director; she and Theatre Manager Bonnie Brodeur bring several decades of theatrical experience to the stage, from performance to management, costumes, lights and sound.

We offer a very full season of theatrical performances, with six different plays (4 Main Stage and 2 Second Stage) throughout the year. We host workshops, guest lectures, and a variety of arts-related classes, including acting, vocal, instruments, dance, and more. During the summer, we offer a variety of youth camps so that area youth can fine-tune their acting skills. These camps cover everything from stage performance through lighting and sound.

TAPA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and is supported by tuitions, ticket sales, ads, sponsorships and donations. We are not funded by any public entity, and as such, depend heavily on the generosity of our patrons and supporters. Please consier giving a tax deductible donation to TAPA. We sincerely thank you.
