Veteran Service Provider Luncheon at Ussery-Roan Thursday, October 3rd

The Interim VA Director, Mr. Sage plans to attend this Thursday VSP luncheon. I encourage each of you to attend and welcome Mr. Sage. There will also be a card for everyone to sign for James Peach.

Please join us Thursday, October 3rd at 11:30 am for the monthly Veteran Service Providers lunch meeting. We meet at Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Home, located at 1020 Tascosa Road in Amarillo. If you plan to eat, please RSVP to Lee Persefield at his email (Lee.Persefield@glo.texas.gov ) no later than noon Wednesday to reserve your plate. The cost is $3.00 for lunch. You can pay cash or check only, no debit/credit cards accepted at the front desk. Remember to RSVP in order to ensure there is enough food prepared for everyone.

The meetings are informal but informative with the intent of introducing new and existing Veteran Service Providers (VSP), allies, and SMVFs (Service Members, Veterans, and Families) to the Panhandle Region. Everyone has a chance to introduce themselves and share how SMVFs may benefit the most from your services. Bring your business cards and any literature you wish to share with others. Visitors are welcome too so they may become familiar with resources in our area. By networking together we all show our support to the SMVF Community.

Remember our “Feed a Vet” fund that is used to help any Veteran that needs a meal. If you wish to throw a dollar in the hat to help keep this going, your generosity is greatly appreciated.
