Our monthly Business Opportunities Luncheon features programs and speakers from around the Amarillo community who work closely with small businesses. This event provides networking opportunities for businesses who may be looking to expand their sales of products and services to agencies and companies like WTAMU, Amarillo College, CNS Pantex, City of Amarillo, Texas Department of Transportation and many others. Join the luncheon to get the best information and make connections.
Join us this month when Tracy Shea explains Professional Development Training in the Panhandle. Tracy, besides being a former SBDC Consultant, is the Training Coordinator for WTAMU Extended Studies. Tracy received his BA from Miami University and is an always aspiring entrepreneur.
WTAMU Extended Studies offers three levels of professional development programs to the Panhandle business community:
Online on-demand – a selection of over 100 self-paced online courses that offer skill development, professional designations & certifications and CEU’s
Essential Business Skills (EBS) – a group of in-person small group classes taught by local business professionals using a WT developed curriculum. There will also be an in-depth discussion of the EBS program, including the 3-2-1 system developed at WT.
Contract training – in-person group or individual training with specialized curriculum developed for one employer and customized to meet their learning objectives to support their business goals.
