Sgt. Don Moore Fundraiser Cook Out

Date: 16 May 2012
Details:
hamburger/hot dog lunch on the APD north lot - fenced in area at 3rd and S. Fillmore, from 11:00 AM until the food runs out.   The lunch will be $7.00 for the burger or hot dog, chips, and a drink.  There will be a silent auction and a bake sale.  Organizers will accept contributions for the bake sale, but health department rules restrict the items to those prepared in commercial kitchens-no home baked items, unfortunately.  The cooks will have it set up for “to go” orders also.  Overflow parking will be at the downtown library and Civic Center, with a shuttle bus every 15 minutes.

Any donations of any kind are appreciated, and there is an account set up at the Amarillo National Bank.  This is being sponsored by the APD, Amarillo Police Officers Association, Texas Narcotic Officers Association, Potter Co. Sheriff’s Office, Randall Co. Sheriff’s Office, Dept. of Public Safety Highway Patrol, and the Coors Cowboy Club.   Please put it on your calendar and come out and have lunch for a good cause!

For any other information, call Rosemary Robinson or Callie Haney at 378-3076.  Coffee Memorial will be on site during this and will conduct a blood drive, so you have the opportunity to help out lots of people in need while you are here.
